Package: beep-media-player
Version: 0.9.6.1+cvs20040813-6

this bug is still not fixed, despite what it says in #239110 (which seems
subtly different)

in that bug the volume increases randomly on a new song if the volume is
less than 30%. i am seeing a decrease in volume with every new song. it
seems to be a consistent decrease, e.g. 35->19->10->5->2 then freezes if i
try to play a song when the volume is set to 2%

this is quite a serious bug in this program
