Package: zircon
Version: 1.18.224-1
Severity: important

Thanks for maintaining Zircon. I like it and use it.

Here's how I cause it to loop.

Install the software versions described above and below (3
packages, including zircon).

Remove ~/.zircon directory.

Run top to monitor cpu usage.

Run zircon.

Left click on the (blank) server rectange of Zircon's control

Choose "Other".

Enter "irc.debian.org".

Click "OK".

Left click in the Channel field.

Enter "#debian" and press return.

Watch zircon's cpu usage soar for a few minutes.

I suspect there's a bogus loop in the source code.
