I'm closing this bug.  I didn't see anything special happen when
clicking that apply button in render options, and you didn't really
explain either what was supposed to happen then anyway.

Maybe the problem has gone away on its own when updating other
packages.  I can't know.  Feel free to reopen this bug if the problem
still exists and you can give more specific information about it.
