package: fcheck
Version: 2.7.59-1

Instead of,
30 *    * * *   root    /usr/sbin/fcheck -asxrf /etc/fcheck/fcheck.cfg

see the cron.d/anacron example of:

30 7    * * *   root    test -x /etc/init.d/anacron && /etc/init.d/anacron start
 >/dev/null

This guarding is necessary because (when I delete, but don't purge,
fcheck because it takes more than 1/2 hour to run, yet runs every half
hour!) the remaining conf file (/etc/cron.d/fcheck) is still fired and
generates mail reporting the error:

/bin/sh: /usr/sbin/fcheck: No such file or directory
