Subject: woody installation bf2.4 kernel image broken

Package: boot-floppies
Version: 3.0.20-2002-03-05

When I try to install woody via loadlin in DOS with the bf2.4 kernel
flavor, loadlin says

Invalid copressed format (err=3D1)
 --- System halted

I used the standard install.bat:
=2E.\dosutils\loadlin linux root=3D/dev/ram initrd=3D../images-1.44/bf2.4/=
root.bin disksize=3D1.44 flavor=3Dbf2.4

and tried differnt mirrors with the same result.

The idepci flavor works fine.

The machine is a Compaq Armada 1750 laptop running Win98SE (among other
OSes, but that's where I used loadlin form).

Regards,
Mart S=F5mermaa ( wanted to use ext3 ;), now have to do with ext2 )
