Package: xisp
Version: 2.6p1-6
Severity: grave

Hi, xisp is still built against libforms0.89 instead of the free
libforms1 which was uploaded to Debian 4 months ago. Please note that
libforms0.89 is obsolete; I had planned to remove the package when all
packages that depend on it had been rebuilt against libforms1, and I
have sent emails to package maintainers about this (e.g. announcing that
libforms1 was in the archive on Dec 10th 2002)

xisp is the only package left that still depends on libforms0.89.
Recently, the xlib6g was removed from the X packages, making
libforms0.89 uninstallable on sid. I don't plan on fixing this but
rather on having it removed from the archive.

xisp is thus no longer installable on sid.

Other minor issues which lead me to believe that this package is no
longer actively maintained:

 - The web page has moved to http://xisp.hellug.gr/ and so the link
provided in the package description is wrong.

 - Version 2.7 was released on Nov 24th 2001, over a year ago.

I might NMU a working package if this bug report remains unanswered
for a while, considering that the graveness of it is somewhat of my own

This bug was fixed in xisp 2.7p1-1.0 by Pierre Machard. The package is now
in main and also orphaned, so I'm closing the bug instead.

Thanks for the bug report.
