Package: saytime
Version: 1.0-7
Severity: important

I'm not sure, but to me it almost sounds as if it is trying to
play a mono input file as stereo or something similar.

play (sox) with the parameters "-t ul -r 8000" plays the input

The package has this bug since I first tried it ages ago and with all
kernel versions that I tested it with (>2.2.0)
