Look here:
http://wiki.debian.org/DebImg?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=build_log.txt

This is on a local mirror, with a laptop cpu (the slowest one of the
Santa Rosa) on a 120GB laptop HDD. [Laptop: HP Compaq 6720s GR644ET
(Europe)]. The filesystem is ext3.
The data may be cached in ram, but i built both amd64 and i386 ones and
they took about 5 seconds. Reading and writing 200 mb is not really
slow.
