If the original message is removed from the archive as spam, I have no
problem with my own message being removed as spam as well.  It's not as
though this represents any particularly novel contribution to the Debian
discourse.

I'm not sure if I think the original message *should* be removed as spam.
In some sense, these mails having made their way to the list, it's more
honest to keep them in the archive as an accurate record of Debian's
(sometimes checkered) discussion history.

I'm much more interested in seeing such mails prevented from making it
through in the future than in trying to scrub the past.
