Yes, David, please do that. It seems we have a situation where nobody
knows what the proper way to handle this is, or even who makes the go/no
go decision. From SPI's part, I would assume that we would never try to
move ahead with this sort of action unless Debian consents to doing so.
But that's just the first step; we really ought to figure out what we're
doing. And what the deal is with the trademark committee. I'm not on
that list so I can't access its archives.
