That too, but it does check for Xsane too.

> $ hp-check -rt | grep sane

I should take a closer look as I cannot remember seeing the messages
above.

The message above failed for me. Amarnath Chitumalla already fixed this
issue upstream.

The development packages indeed should not be required. A separate
report should be created for `libsane-dev`.
