This is a postscript printer so a postscript driver should work and
use the least resources.

However, I am using the Gutenprint driver in absence of any saner
working driver.

Using hplip which was made for Inkjets with an ancient PostScript/PCL
printer seems somewhat odd but if the driver suffers from severe
feature creep it might work as well.
