Bug#424624: defoma problem with ttf-uralic?

I managed to sort my problem for the default fonts at least:
In /var/lib/defoma/gs.d/dirs/fonts/Fontmap Helvetica, Courier etc.
were aliased to XxxUralic .
dpkg -r ttf-uralic removed those, and now the standard fonts alias to
Nimbus again. And even after reinstalling ttf-uralic, the standard fonts
still alias to Nimbus.
HOWEVER: in Fontmap, AvantGarde-Bold is aliased to GothicUralicBold, and
Bookman-Italic to BookmanUralicItalic -- and running gs on a file containing
' /AvantGarde-Bold findfont ' still results in an error:

Substituting font Helvetica-Bold for GothicUralicBold.
Loading NimbusSanL-Bold font from /var/lib/defoma/gs.d/dirs/fonts/n019004l.pfb... 3620616 1741850 1810296 523542 1 done.
The problem seems to be that in /var/lib/defoma/gs.d/dirs/fonts/ ,
there is no link GothicUralicBold ->
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/uralic/gothub__.ttf
Should there be?
There is a line resolving GothicUralicBold to .../gothub___.ttf in
/var/lib/defoma/gs.d/psprint.private-subst-cache ,
but that file does not seem to be used by gs.
