I see it was applied on the 1.2 branch on 20th Feb, so it's part of
the 1.2.9 release (and presumably 1.2.10). I guess that the Debian
CUPS team is concentrated on packaging the last upstream stable
release, so I hope that tagging the bug will remind them to close it
in the changelog.
