Bug#322397: cupsys-driver-gutenprint: CANON.ppd contains illegal whitespace line 419 "Plain PIXMAR"

Local printing to my Canon BJC-3000 failed due to illegal whitespace on
line 419 of CANON.ppd, where "Plain PIXMAR" is used in a place or places
where there can be no white space. Replacing the term "Plain PIXMAR"
with "Plain-PIXMAR" and restarting cupsd re-enabled local printing.
