Yes, that's why I was speaking about an unsupported architecture, not an
unsupported CPU model or laptop model.

sid is and never was supposed to be something that is production-ready
which is why things can always break. After all, it's named after the
character in Toy Story that tortures and destroys toys but you can also
read it as "still in development".
It can and will always happen in sid that things break. Be it because of
the next Perl transition or because of a change like the time64_t switch,
these changes will always cause disruptions and therefore performing a
dist-upgrade on sid should always be done with great caution.

People in corporate environments shouldn't be using Debian sid or any
rolling release distribution for what it's worth.
