debian netinst 2020-04-18 claims No space left on device

This is progress certainly :

Apr 19 01:14:56 in-target: cannot copy `/usr/lib/grub/powerpc-ieee1275/gcry_rijndael.mod' to `/boot/grub/powerpc-ieee1275/gcry_rijndael.mod': No space left on device

Looking at the hfs boot partition I see that it is 1MB in size and can
not be made larger it seems.

A greater surprise was that the grub boot loader was being copied into
the tiny hfs partition area and not the 2GB ext2 /boot partition that I
created :

SCSI2 (0,0,0) (sda) - 300.1 GB ATA ST3300622AS
#1 32.3 kB Apple
#2 1.0 MB B K boot untitled
#3 2.0 GB ext2 boot
#4 16.0 GB F swap swap swap
#5 64.0 GB ext4 local
#6 218.1 GB ext4 root
       25.1 kB FREE SPACE

I attached the installer syslog.
