You have lost faith in Debian because a 20 year old machine (made by a
company that did tons of hack jobs and had lots of bugs in the firmware)
running an architecture that is no longer a release architecture (because
apparently there wasn't enough people to maintain it at a high enough
level) has a problem with the video card (and the video card happens
to be one of the hack jobs given the card was only ever really designed
for x86 machines and not fully documented)?
