    Hi,
    as an alternative to pressing the "c"
      key to boot for cd rom, you could try to press "Command,”
      “Option,” “O” and “F” keys simultaneously as the machine boots to
      access the Open Firmware interface.
      at open firmware prompt type :
0 > boot cd:,\boot\grub\powerpc.elf
    select normal install.
