Toolchain version to build Linux 3.16.41

Hi,

I am working on the  PowerPC platform and now upgrading to Linux version 3.16.41.

I am unable to build the Linux 3.16.41 , may be because of the improper toolchain.

Would you please suggested about the versioning  of the component to be used to build the toolchain.

Currently I am using the below version to build the toolchain.

 

binutils-2.26

gcc-4.9.4

glibc-2.24

gmp-5.1.3

klibc-2.0.4

mpc-1.0.1

mpfr-3.1.2

linux-3.16.41
