Ibook g4 and TV-out

Iam using the latest ati driver from experimental to have dual sccreen
working, without mergedfb, and with xrandr. (hotplugging second screen
works too)

with latest ati driver from sid, dual screen doesnot work, and starting
X with secondary screen attached results in a hard lock up.

Question is: Can tv-out work with xrandr ? can someone show me some
pointer on the subject ?

When i plugin my tv, xrandr actually detects it, but i dont get any
picture after swithing it.
