Newbie installed sarge on imac. I'm looking for basic web access and office tools. I have the browser working fine with IBM java2 1.5. What I don't have working is any sound output. The volume control just stays at the minimum setting. If I insert a CD the player comes up, and "plays" but no sound. Are there additionaly packages I need to install? I've installed the desktop-package plus a manual install of java. Terry Shannon
