I am wondering whether this bug is similar to the one on powerpc64...

To avoid crashes, it may be better to be completely sure that the module
is not loaded at all, by removing it from /etc/modules.

(And for this reason, it would be safe to comment it out from the
debian-installer for the moment, because when using the tab-completion,
the computer tryes to beep, and wakes up the bug of the sound module...)
