1. Install the toolchain-source package and build a PPC
   cross-compiler. See the HOWTO in /usr/share/doc/toolchain-source.

2. make ARCH=ppc CROSS_COMPILE=powerpc-linux- xconfig

3. Install kernel-package and run
fakeroot -- make-kpkg --arch powerpc --subarch pmac --cross-compile powerpc-linux --revision foo.0 kernel_image

4. Install the resulting kernel-image .deb on your PPC machine,
   run ybin/quik/etc., and reboot.
