Sure it's possible, someone just needs to do it. :) The dri-trunk-sid
packages are basically a DRI CVS snapshot with some bits merged from
XFree86 CVS, but it's possible that the fix in question isn't in either
yet.

It means it's based on XFree86 CVS between 4.3 and 4.4.

DRI CVS is a seperate repository which has been based on XFree86 CVS,
and the two have been merged regularly.
