The yellow image is a known bug, Michel has a fix in his tree.

The external display gets right if you remove UseFBDev, but then, the
internal LCD can get screwed. There's a possible hack to "fix" this
by hard coding the PLL value.

The problem is that the internal LCD requires a fixed PLL value, X
knows how to retreive this from x86 BIOSes, but that code won't work
for us. radeonfb has some hard coded values for known mac models.
