Normal, you don't have a eth1.

I am not sure, but i think to remember, maybe you need to change your
kernel configuration, just do a make menuconfig (or whatever) and go
looking for the help of the (two) networking menus.

Alternatively, you could search for info in the networking howtos, they
should be installed on your system.
