Hi all, I have a ibook2 and I've just downloaded vanilla 2.4.21, put benh2 patches, and xfs patches, fixed up a EXPORT_SYMBOL(mark_page_access) extra in kernel/ksyms.c (it's exported by XFS in mm/filemap.c), and cooked up the kernel without any problems with gcc-3.3. The kernel loads ok, leds blink ;) etc. BUT, the problem is that I've got hdparm to do: hdparm -c1 -m 16 /dev/hda when this happens, it reports lost interrupt, and hda gives me error 58. With kernel 2.4.20-ben1 this was perfectly fine. Is this the blinking light (which I doubt), or have you made any extensive changes to the ide driver Ben? Thanks in advance. \LaShI -- Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (Sid) (ibook2,powerpc), kernel 2.4.20-ben1-xfs Grub first, then ideals. -- Bertolt Brecht <lashi@optusnet.com.au> ICQ: 7181075 pub 1024D/CC1F67BC 2002-06-03 Menaka Lashitha Bandara (Freedom!) <lashi@lashitha.org> Key fingerprint = 1874 5597 C754 5209 0A7D 4DA6 9112 5D0E CC1F 67BC
