KDE hangs on startup
Hi.. I had almost everything working fine on my ibook3... X was working
fine and KDE used to startup fine.. then I tried installing pmud and it
kind of screwed up some things I think.. right now, when KDE starts up,
it hangs while trying to "initialize system services". That's the second
flashing image in the KDE splash screen when it starts up.. I looked
around a bit and there's this DCOP server thing which is getting started
and that seems to be causing this.. also if I look at the processes, I
see that there's a modprobe going on which never finishes.. below is the
set of processes that start when I start kde.. please let me know how I
can get this resolved...thanks.. nirmal
