That's interesting. On my iBook2, I don't see that much decharging, but I definitely do see some.

i think apple keeps the battery full by recharging it when it lost 5%
capacity and not keep charging ... because full is full :-)

Well, I'd expect it to not use the battery at all (and also to disable the charging process) when the notebook is plugged on the wall. This would mean that less charge-recharge cycles would be needed and the battery would last longer.

Does this also occur to other powerbooks (e.g. the TiBooks)?

so this isn't a defective ... i hope ;)
