Re: ppc on tibook



Hi,

If you get the latest model, most of the stuff will work. You will have to
live on the latest 2.4.x kernel. That's the price you will always have to
pay to get the latest gizmos. Here it is for the short answer.

For a more in-depth treatement, please search this list archive. A few days
back, Ben H., a famous Linux guru who I believe, happen to have just got a
new TiBook, gave a very informative status about all the bits and pieces
supported under Linux..

Hope this helps, and have fun with your new machine. They are really nice
indeed. I can't wait for next January to see what Apple will have cooked
next.
