You probably searched the x86 package listings.

This is an interesting situation, because libsane is in woody, but we
haven't built the latest sid version:

auric% madison libsane
   libsane | 1.0.1-1999-10-21-12 | stable | alpha, arm, i386, m68k, powerpc, sparc
   libsane | 1.0.4-2 | testing | alpha, arm, i386, m68k, powerpc, s390, sparc
   libsane | 1.0.4-2 | unstable | m68k, powerpc, s390, sh
   libsane | 1.0.5-2 | unstable | mipsel
   libsane | 1.0.5-3 | unstable | alpha, arm, i386, ia64, mips, sparc

On the other hand, we do have the latest sid version of "sane", but
we don't have a version in woody:

auric% madison sane
      sane | 1.0.1-1999-10-21-12 | stable | source, alpha, arm, i386, m68k, powerpc, sparc
      sane | 1.0.4-1 | testing | alpha, arm, i386, m68k, sparc
      sane | 1.0.5-3 | unstable | alpha, arm, i386, m68k, mips, powerpc, s390, sparc

Voltaire doesn't seem to have buildlogs for sane. I'll try building
the latest version now.
