So this causes me to ask again if anybody out there has a clue as to why
whenever I use ps on my TiBook it says:

{rtc_lock} {__VERSIONED_SYMBOL(rtc_lock)}
Warning: /boot/System.map-2.4.8-pre7-ben0 does not match kernel data.

Does the rtc_lock symbol have anything to with the real time clock, or is
this a red herring?  Any why would System.map created at the same time as
the kernel I am running by make-kpkg not match that kernel?
