Ethernet Powerbook3400c

How do I configure ethernet settings, after debian installed?
I have a modem/ethernet card built-in in the powerbook.

PS: during installation i was asked to introduce IP values, but
Debian installer said that values were incorrect, although they work
correctly in the MacOS in my network.
