Thanks, what does fbset -v -s show? try fbset -a -accel False and see if that fixes it. accel on aty128fb has the exact opposite effect after 2.2.15 or 2.2.16. i get that exact behavior if i attempt to activate -accel on my blue g3 (which also has the rage128) -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
