Trouble with imstt driver in ani's tree

When I try to use the imstt driver with my twin turbo 128, X stops with:

(EE) Driver `imstt' has no LeaveVT function, deleting.

(II) Unloading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libfb.a
(EE) Screen(s) found, but drivers were unusable.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

I'm on a g4 450mhz agp, w/256Mb ram and the standard r128 card in the agp slot and the imstt card in pci 1:2:0.
