Re: XFree86 on potato

What are the nodes that I have to make and how do I make them? If the nodes aren't too hard to make, why aren't they in the debian package? (In other words, why is Potato broken when it is supposed to be a stable distro?)

Fortunately my system is still running.

DO NOT use the dev rpm, aliened or not, IT WILL RUIN YOUR SYSTEM!
someone already made that mistake earlier and had to use boot floppies
to recover. its not that hard to use mknod to create the handfull of
nodes you need.
