2r2 kernel and airport

Hi,

I just went through the changelogs for 2r2 and noticed, that there is a
new kernel mentioned. From what I know - which isn't much of course -
the usual apt-get upgrade doesn't affect the kernel, so what do I have
to do to to upgrade my kernel. Or better: Do I need to upgrade if I'm
quite happy with what I've got? (That is: Pismo, Airport,
2.2.17pre?-ben1)

The other thing I'm worried about is my airport module. As posted
before, I have difficulties to get the airport module working at boot
time, if I use another kernel than the one it is compiled for. Insmod -f
works fine but not at boot time.
