The database(s) depends on the Packages.gz file from the archive. Someone
broke it and now it is only 20 Bytes big:

-r--r--r--   1 root     root           20 Sep 10 15:26 Packages.gz

Without the information from this file, no packages are available and/or
installable. 

Should be fixed this or the next day.
