Well, Bill did ask about it, and I thus suspect he believe it is
valuable.  Personally I believe such commits mailing list is valuable as
a review mechanism to help increase the code quality in a project.  But
I leave it to Bill to make that decision, as I barely have time for
anything Debian related these days, and thus do not want to impose work
on others.
