[Popcon-developers] [Debian RT] popcon broken: bellini NFS link for /srv/ftp.debian.org/ftp unreliable
Dear Debian system admins,
Since the 16th of March, the popcon cron job cannot complete because it cannot
access the Packages.gz files below /org/ftp.debian.org/ftp.
On bellini.debian.org, this directory is NFS mounted.
This cronjob is run as the popcon user, and it seems there are permission issues
that prevent the popcon user to access the NFS share.
For example running ls as the ballombe user work:
bellini% ls /org/ftp.debian.org/ftp
dists indices ls-lR.patch.gz project README.CD-manufacture README.mirrors.html tools
doc ls-lR.gz pool README README.html README.mirrors.txt
but it fails when running as the popcon user:
bellini% sudo -u popcon ls /org/ftp.debian.org/ftp
<hang>
As the result the popcon report cannot be computed and the popcon.debian.org website
cannot be updated.
Cheers,
--
Bill. <ballombe at debian.org>
Imagine a large red swirl here.
