Hello,
My name is Nathan Handler (nhandler) [1]. I am an Ubuntu Developer who
is looking to become more active in contributing to Debian. I am
pretty fluent in Perl, so I figured that this would be a good team to
help out with. I have already started packaging a few of the Perl
modules that are used by some of my scripts. I have also registered
the 'nhandler-guest' account on alioth.debian.org [2]. Currently, I
hope to contribute to this team by helping to package new perl
modules, update existing Perl packages, and forward bugs submitted on
Launchpad about Perl packages to the BTS. Like I mentioned earlier, I
want to join this team in order to contribute more to Debian, and to
improve my packaging skills. My current plan is to apply to be a
Debian Maintainer and then go through the NM process to become a
Debian Developer. I believe that being helping out with this team can
help me meet these goals.
