GSoC weekly report of Umang for week 10 and 11

Hello,

My GSoC project is "Android SDK Tools in Debian". In the last two weeks, I haven't done much of coding. I am figuring out a way to package android-framework which basically contains android.jar.

Android.jar is one of the major components of Android SDK. It is sort of java library header of whole Android SDK. One of my mentors(cdesai) figured out that to build android.jar successfully, somewhat 50 repos of AOSP source are required. We are thinking about using MUT(Multi upstream tarball) approach for packaging this. But I haven't figured it how to create MUT package. I haven't found much information online but from whatever information I gathered from man pages of uscan, I have created this basic debian/watch file to test if it works or not but currently it just downloads source tarball of the first component specified in debian/watch file[1]. If here anyone has any experience regarding MUT packages or if you know any resources to know more about it, please let me know.
