According to the Wikipedia article about the beerware license [0], it is
compatible with the GPL (and even DFSG compatible, although there is no
reference for this).
I think the problem would rather be that packaging another project into
your project would be considered an embedded code copy [1], so like
Daniele already mentioned, it would be better to package the opentracker
in a seperate package
