only blank white pages are displayed in the print preview and the pdf export.

Regardless of what I wrote already, this - as I was quite sure of - isn't even reproducible.

Started writer, entered abc. print preview does show a page with abc just fine, as des a pdf export create a pdf with abc.

Both in clean testing and clean sid.  In a clean VM.

It just occured to me that reorted this with 24.8.4-1, implying that it worked in 24.8.3? Is that true? You didn't say in your report when it appeared.

With what for a document?

If it had embedded fonts (I never understand why people do that, juzst use standard fonts or distribute as PDF!) you might run into the fix for

https://www.libreoffice.org/about-us/security/advisories/cve-2024-12425, which is

https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=383067b41647e70e0a304bddf529aacfe015099f

which would explain why a "start writer, abc (with default font)" just works.

Please ask if you need further information.

Steps to actually reproduce would help.

Still, but thinking about the above:

Starting from console and Console log might help.

(I don't remember whether SAL_LOG is active in non-Debug builds, though.)

Regards,

Rene
