Package: libreoffice-gtk3
Version: 4:7.4.7-1+deb12u3

When libreoffice-gtk3 is not installed, the "Insert -> Symbols" menu of
LibreOffice Writer (4:7.4.7-1+deb12u3) can be opened correctly. When
libreoffice-gtk3 is installed, such menu does not open, but no error in printed
on the terminal either.

I am on Debian 6.1.99-1 (2024-07-15) i686 GNU/Linux. C library version is
2.36-9+deb12u7.

There's none like this afaics. Did you man Insert -> Special Characters?

Yes, sorry. I am using a different locale on my own install.

Which one? Maybe it's even locale-specific?

(tried de_DE and en_US here.)

Can you try whether a current 24.2 (as available in backports) works?

Nice one! Yes, all works well on 24.2.

Let's mark it as such then.

Regards,

Rene
