Hi,

I use chrome and brave as my web browsers, but have to install firefox or epiphany because of this package. It seems nicer to depend on the virtual www-browser
# grep-dctrl -FProvides www-browser /var/lib/apt/lists/deb.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_main_binary-amd64_Packages -sPackage
Package: chromium
Package: dillo
Package: edbrowse
Package: elinks
Package: epiphany-browser
Package: falkon
Package: firefox
Package: firefox-esr
Package: konqueror
Package: links
Package: links2
Package: luakit
Package: lynx
Package: netrik
Package: netsurf-fb
Package: netsurf-gtk
Package: qutebrowser
Package: sugar-browse-activity
Package: surf
Package: hv3
Package: w3m
Package: xemacs21-mule
Package: xemacs21-mule-canna-wnn
Package: xemacs21-nomule

so then the numerous browsers that are in the debian repos (not even counting my case of using third-party repos) could be used,

of which most of them won't be usable. Or is there JS etc support for (e)links. w3m. ...?

There unfortunately is no "X browser with JavaScript support" virtual package.

Regards,

Rene
