Package: libreoffice-calc

Dear Maintainer,

I can't format date cells in libreoffice-calc in Hungarian.

1. Open libreoffice-calc in a Hungarian environment (LANG=hu_HU.UTF-8) stable Buster, XFCE DE, up to date
2. right click in an empty cell, and try "Cellák formázása..." (=Format cells)
3. calc hangs
4. I can close the window with "x" on the right

or:

2. enter a date into a cell ("2019-08-09")
3. right click in an empty cell, and try "Cellák formázása..." (=Format cells)
4. calc hangs
5. I can close the window with "x" on the right

or:

2. enter some text or number into a cell (no date!)
3. right click on that cell, click "Cellák formázása...", and try to set format to "Dátum" (=Date)
4. calc hangs, X hangs, but I can use CTRL-ALT-F1, log in and kill libreoffice-calc, and X works again

A Hungarian user reported, that if he removes libreoffice-l10n-hu, there's no hanging. But with my system, it doesn't solve the problem. The problem exists with stable buster LO packages (1:6.1.5-3+deb10u2) and with buster-backports (1:6.3.0~rc2-1~bpo10+1) too. The problem existed in stretch too, with stretch-backports LO too.

No error messages if started in a terminal.

But no problem on Fedora 30, with XFCE, full Hungarian locales, libreoffice 6.2.5.2-1.fc30 packages, so I think it's a Debian problem, not LO.

Hi,

Am 10.01.22 um 11:21 schrieb Kovacs Lajos:
This bug was corrected, all is well in Bullseye, libreoffice-calc version 7.0.4-4+deb11u1.

Thanks. Closing then :)

(Now the question is in which version this exactly was fixed, whether it already was 7.0.3 or "only" 7.0.4-

The former has the advantage that it marks the bug also as fixed in testings etc. versions so I'll close this

with 1:7.0.3~rc3-1 - also since it doesn't really matter now in practice.)

Regards,

Rene
