Package: libreoffice-common
Version: 1:6.1.0~rc2-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I recently upgraded LibreOffice from 6.0 to 6.1.0~rc2-3, and we found that
writer documents would not print. That is, the paper went through the printer,
but came out white, nothing printed.

First we got round this by exporting as PDF, and printing from Okular.

Upon further investigation, I found that calc documents print no text, but do
print lines.

Upon further investigation, I found that enabling the option "PDF as standard
print job format" allows the application to print as normal.

I did test this on two printers, so I am sure it is not a problem with a
specific printer. Furthermore, both Okular and MuseScore packages print with
no special settings on the computer.

As I presume the attached information tells you, I print using CUPS, which is
currently 2.2.8-5

Kind regards,

Andrew Rule

Interestingly, it works for me in both PDF and PS (set via the print
dialogue, not the options) - both time I get a trivial writer
document printed.

That said, when I do it in the options I *do* get a blank page.
Interesting..

And it _does_ work for me in 6.1.1 rc1 (forced lo-core/ure onto my
buster). Closing.

Rene
