I believe this is a complete different segfauult to what this bug
is about. Not every segfault is the same

Not to mention that you mentioned in your first mail

We didn't have --enable-mergelibs enabled until shortly when upstream
defaulted to it, and back in time it was flaky and source of crashes. Maybe
also of this one?
Anyway, please don't "hijack" bugs ;)
